America’s most visited national park is a forest-covered, ancient mountain range straddling the border between North Carolina and Tennessee. The Great Smoky Mountains is home to incredibly diverse plant life, creating a lush backdrop inhabited by elk, black bear, wild turkey and fireflies and much more.
Known as one of the most romantic and historical cities in the world, we recently ventured off to explore Rome, Italy. A city that takes you back in time with its ruins, churches, museums, buildings and more. We highly recommend visiting in the spring or fall when there are less crowds and the weather is mild. Since Rome was not built in a day, we did need a couple of days to not only explore the city, but enjoy its cuisine and wine.
Known as The Last Frontier, Alaska became the 49th U.S. state in 1959. Surrounded by some of the world’s most beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife and more active glaciers and ice fields than the rest of the inhabited world, it truly is a magical and unforgettable adventure.
One of the best hotels in San Diego, The Westgate Hotel is home to arts, culture, dining and wellness, in addition to a wonderful series of events all summer long. Enjoy a day at the spa at AquaVie Fitness + Wellness Club starting your day with Yoga & Mimosas or Bikes & Brunch, then stay for Poolside Jazz and an evening of fine dining.

While San Diego may have boutiques, shops and malls, it is only with a visit to the incomparable and impressive Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas that you will discover an unparalleled collection of luxury retailers under one roof with a focus on attention to details, fine dining and unique experiences. With so much to do and so little time, we were enthralled with a day of shopping, an afternoon of high-tea, and evening’s show with a visit with the King of Pop!
Recently, we ventured back in time to visit the rich history and medieval towns of southeastern Europe in the capital city Bucharest and the forested region of Transylvania, Romania. We flew to Bucharest, a charming city also known as the “Paris of the East”. A once communist country, it is developing into a city of art, culinary scenes, spectacular architecture, and thriving viniculture making it one of the world’s fastest growing travel destinations.
